Three of the eight chooks are clean 🧽! Bottoms, toes, beaks and ears. Removing the stick tight fleas is not an easy task. Persistence is the key! :old
I have Dakota, Xzit, Hen-Rietta, Shenandoah and Jaffar to do next.
If possible, I might try to clip Jaffar’s spurs as well.
But first, I need to eat! :yesss:
I wiped around the perches with my oils mix vinegar and bicarbonate. But I've added a few drops of citarella to keep the flies out.

Then I have added a little garlic to their water with mint and vitamins. That'll put the slugs off. Hopefully
Plus there's a mix of spices in their layers and crumble feeder with more mint.

So they have both smelly breath as well as a freshener. :D

I'm really sorry. :hugsYou must be so upset

The darned insects are a real problem this year
It's okay, it happens from time to time and although I was really sad I do realize now that this is just nature. However I am still upset about Jerry a field mouse (he eats finch eggs) that lives in my compost bin! If I catch him I will feed him to Susan! She eats everything lol. However I can agree that the bugs are bad here (it feels like Australia) but I feel bad for Nevada and their... visitors...

Update: Shanny is clean now, Dakota didn’t need much cleanup, Xzit is still drying out now. Hen-Rietta will have nothing to do with being cleaned up. She ran away from me. I’m taking a break and enjoying my stash of candy (@Ponypoor taught me that) :D 71433541309__97B18EBF-54E9-44FD-B63E-DE41AFD07641.jpeg
