It’s an egg hunt here daily now, these where hiding behind my wheelbarrow in some straw.

Now, for those of you who know me tell me what is wrong with it.
That is 4 days worth of eggs counting today. I already did the morning collection, this evening will go for round two and fill up the last carton and start on another one. This also does not include the other 9 dozen on top of my fridge. I have to meet a customer tonight and will deliver 6 dozen eggs. Pokes the Marshmallows. I love everything about you guys, except your color of eggs and you all are outlaying my brown egg girls. Fun fact. We got the marshmallows because grandma claimed she would eat their eggs if we got them. They started laying toward the end of May I think. 4, that is right 4. She has eaten 4 of their eggs.

Where's all the Marans eggs? I would expect more - aren't they the very dark brown ones, or also the lighter ones? How many Marans do you have currently? I'm not straight on who's broody, or raising chicks, or otherwise indisposed. Is that the reason?

Awll, thank you they are pretty, as are yours. Ya know, when I first got chickens I primarily did so because I wanted fresh eggs. Now, even if they never laid another egg, I can’t imagine not having them. Amazing creatures aren’t they?

I took Tylenol as soon as I got home. I do feel a little icky but hopefully like last time it will be short lived. Most importantly I found out today that the treatment is working. Diameter is still the same but its not raised anymore flat like a scab instead.

Mind is blown that the flu vaccine is beating back Melanoma! I will take a couple of sick days for that for sure

Pony Sunday
I don't normally have photos for Pony Sunday but here are some interesting ones.

And sadly, a yellow jacket nest in the hillside next to our steps. I had to eliminate them they were too close and too aggressive.

I have yellow jackets as well over here... had a close run in with one. I was operating my impact driver for a project and I hear a buzzing next to my ear... I think you all know by now that I am terrified of wasps and yellow jackets in particular. I got freaked out over a fly once but I just decided to be sure. Sure enough the yellow jacket flew in front of my eyes and well it was a wasp. I started slowly backing away until I was far enough away and ran with my impact driver alll the way up the steps and into my house and sat there cowering on the floor. That was quite terrifying... especially since I have an allergic reaction to bee and wasp stings.
