Bear in mind that was with young developing chicks. Not teenagers or adults. That paper on ACV comes close to persuading me to try some in their mash.
Now that makes sense. Or under the tongue maybe?
I read the French used too give treatments through the skin, the wrists I think?
But I can't see how this works on dogs and cats because they don't sweat from their body.
@BY Bob . Please update me if you know any more. I really want to preserve my old lad for as long as possible.
How on earth do I find the mucus membrane on my fur babiesSo, maybe you or @BY Bob or @RoyalChick would know better, but I have heard that CBD is more effective when absorbed directly through the skin and/or a mucus membrane
What about above their vent?instead of through the digestive tract, as it gets somewhat broken down when taken orally before it gets absorbed into the blood stream. I realize that it would be hard to utilize a CBD oil on a chicken ( unless it was for their feet or ankles) due to all the feathers.
however, do any of you 3 (or others )know anything about the relative efficacy for those routes versus orally? I 'heard' in a short news article or something a few years ago when cannabis became legal in MA - so was before the pandemic, and was A) wondering if it was true (seems reasonable, but who knows) and B) If so, how would you administer (either topically or in a 'nasal spray' something like that to a chicken?????????
(note the double confusion on this last part!!!)
Ahh shucks...I seem to have miss placed my wallet.... (They don't call me the weasel of tax fraud for nothing)More taxes owed
In the past Aurora would get very little trying to control both feeding locations. Now she picks one, eats the prime pieces and then moves to the other. She is no fool.I feel like Bernie and I will be racing each other back and forth between two points.
Meanwhile I am confident Babs and Piglet will clean up all the treats!
