@micstrachan has tried CBD before and I don't think it worked.

I wonder if the use of CBD with THC would be more effective for them. I wonder if they have any products like this for our pets.

I don't see any products like this but I haven't had much chance to look either.

As a mere Hooman I thank you, for ‘tis my mama who is cherishing and serving the Chooks at le palais du poulet du Canada, and my mama is about at her wits end with Curly, Henny and Whiskers - my mama is not used to serving chickens and especially broody chickens.

I have to say the cbd with the THC did work for my hips and sacrum much to my surprise (after I got over the initial reaction to freaking out about the THC), and wish I could use it out here but alas not worth the risk to my work.

But at least I know there is a topical option that works for when I retire - or win the lottery

Pain control is important for one’s well being, and there really aren’t that many options out there.

I just wish there were more completed studies for the use of THC related to dosing and efficacy. Right now it’s pretty much a stab in the dark at what a dose is…

THC may get you 1 to 3

I want to stay away from the 1 to 3 - Tylenol with codien that is ! It really bothers my stomach - and the pain relief isn’t all that long, so it’s frustrating to me.

I am waiting for McMaster university to complete some studies, and then I hope pharmaceutical companies will start making properly dosed meds - of course pharmaceutical companies likley wont invest in it as there is no money in it for them.

But, maybe just maybe they will invest in meds for pets with it. If we Hoomans can’t benefit from proper dosing then at least maybe our pets can benefit from meds that don’t make one feel nauseous or drowsy.
