Do you think you could come over and show me the proper way to make my coop clean ? I’m deep litter two years of build up. I have only removed the top layer (poop and dampness)

I have a frost legbar. Same difference.

I am thinking those Azurs are a sort of legbar. But mine are splash coloured I was surprised to see that with them.

Have you tried ivermectin? Kills all sorts of blood suckers!

I wonder if those critters are here or I mean home…

Finding a way to drain the standing water by digging a ditch (it doesn’t take much) and stopping new water coming in would be my first priorities.

I agree with this. I would take steps to move the water away from the run. I like the idea of the deep litter. I would try to move the water away so I could keep the litter.

Just trying to catch up, haven’t been feeling well all day since last night, likely got some stomach bug - heavens knows those port-a-potties aren’t the most hygienic things to use, and hand sanitizer is a poor substitute for soap and water…. I use hand sanitizer, then disinfectant wipes, and finish with baby wipes. My hands are sooooo dry - I am using hand cream like crazy.

I am going to get me a water container to use to wash my hands when I get back here. Soap and water and a nice towel to dry my hands.
