Tassels is just stunning. I am so happy you finally have your own BBBH. Big Beautiful Black Hen....with feathered legs no less. Well actually you have 2 BBBH if you count calypso. I am curious which one is bigger of the 2 girls and cannot wait to see what color eggs those girls end up laying.

I will have to do a side by side photo shoot. Calypso is gorgeous: a bit more shy and definitely smaller than Tassels.
The theory is that Tassels will lay olive eggs (blue mixed with dark brown) and Calypso will lay blue eggs.
Neither shows any interest in laying eggs at all right now!

I made scrambled eggs with steak and Greek yogurt for the chickens this morning for their breakfast. Yummy (even for my standards) !!
