Alpaca makes for incredibly light and warm socks....HOWEVER it WILL felt no matter what you do. Merino wool you can wash in cold water, lay flat to dry and have it wear for years. Alpacs will felt even in cold water, and will do some just in shoes while you wear it. We learned this the hard way.

It’s the perfect temperature outside for thanksgiving: cold enough (but above freezing) to store the excess beer out the kitchen door. It didn’t occur to me until after this photo, that perhaps it does place the bottles in a line of attack 💩

If it's below freezing, just store them in a cooler on the porch. It works both ways.
