Very much so, but he weasels his fluffy cheeks and beard in there on ALL OF THEM.. lol it's like if/when he passes and I think he can't haunt me, I get to stare at 6 of his minions

My niece’s old hen Red, she is unwell, I don’t want to leave her to suffer. The hen has come to my place along with a few others from my niece when she bought a house were they can’t have chooks.

I am thinking hard on this overnight tonight.

Tough decisions.
Could you see how it goes while you are away and if she is suffering get the vet back at that point?
She might just decline and die on her own terms during the week.

Dakota days and Dakota nights. I told her to stay in the chickens room while I take a shower. But when I was finished, there she was, in the hallway by the bathroom door waiting for me. She obviously needs something, but I’m not quite sure what that is.

That’s what happened with Tuff, I was out west working and mum had to deal with her death. Ken came down and buried her.

I have decided to see how it goes, I am only a 2 hr drive away so if needs be I can pop home to deal with any issues. It’s just too much for me to have to deal with right now, I am not a person to jump at things, I need to analyze and think on things, if I need to do this myself then I want all the facts, I do not want her to be injured further by my incompetence.
