The runs are side by side, so the can see each other so long as they're outdoors.

I suppose this is all being colored by the fact I never wanted a rooster to begin with...

I love bays. Put 4 white feet and a blaze on a bright bay and that there is some eye candy. Truthfully though there is no bad color on a good horse. My least favorite color is chestnut. I've stated it multiple times, the world knows it. Best horse we have is Russ a gleaming copper red, so is life. To me the perfect color is a buckskin, I love them. My 2nd favorite is a nice dapple grey with a black mane and tail. Sadly though with the greying process they are only my ideal color for a few years before they turn white.

That blue hen is Storm. I just watched her make Pear back off. As she's no longer brooding babies, I'm thinking she might have taken the top spot in spite of raising babies when Silver passed. I need to watch her with PITA as P is a spit fire. I had been thinking Pear (oldest) had taken the top spot, but now I'm not so sure. Now that most are at least in the latter phases of moulting and no one is broody, I need to watch for a while.

You may NOT have either Storm or Whiskey. Whiskey is a gentle, wounded hen hovering roo, and worth his weight in gold. I would be willing to let you have some eggs.

Storm is stunning. I remember her brooding chicks. Didn’t you also have a hen named Jessica brood eggs/chicks around the same time as Storm?

Whiskey sounds like a lovely boy, and I suppose I’ll let you keep him He’s just so stunning!

Don’t some horses start bay or chestnut and turn grey? I might be wrong but isn’t it a Spanish breed like Lippizaner or Andalusian (spelling for them both… probably wrong) that starts dark and turns grey with age?
Buckskins are really nice!

Samara almost came up to get snacks from me today! Then Ash shook her head and managed to toss a piece of bread right to her haha.

And...these nails are TOO long! I don't know if I should trim them down or just remove them completely!

The birds were big fans though, thought they looked delicious!

Liara still has a vendetta against our dog, she kept trying to get past me to get him!
