Sorry, my spellchecker is going off at random again. She laid a lash egg .

It's a crazy wind here so as she might have been in pain she's had a quarter of a baby aspirin twice today and looks comfortable this evening. Antibiotics hopefully tomorrow.

How is your cat after the vet's?

Oh she is fine.
I give her gabapentin before we go because she freaks out and the vet can’t get near her.
It makes her hilariously chill about everything for a few hours.
She wouldn’t let me look at her foot yet today but I am still hoping it is all cleared up.

It’s what we are all here for - to support one another and throw suggestions around - how cold is it your way? Do you have an old rug you can put in that spot? Something with a stiff backing so it doesn’t roll up or slid around.

In the low 40s at night. Not terribly cold. I think the cardboard will do, with litter on top.

Support me! my refrigerator stopped working last night. Well over $400 dollars US. in meat, shrimp, lobster tails, my ice cream. The chooks treats, and anything that is in the fridge compartment. So much waste. I’m so angry about this!

Surprisingly enough, my church is already working on the refrigeration problem. I wouldn’t doubt it if I got a new fridge free, in the next few days.
