Which island are you on? I hope you are enjoying yourself 😊

I am sure they are all fine. Do you have any web cams in your coop?
I am on an island called Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands. I don't have any webcams in my coop, but I may get them in the future.

Tortola. very beautiful, I have not been there but others - I did not enjoy the Dominican Republic at all.

Every so often The Turks and Caicos petitions Canada to be annexed by us - we are all for it here, not sure why our Govt isn’t interested though 😁 they have less people than in the local town here.

Tax
The chooks love the 17% textured Layer ration and they all go nuts over it when I refill the feeder.

I am quite addicted to my cameras 😁 I enjoy spying on my chickens and horses sleeping.

The chooks in the Summer House will need to be moved into the new Hen House soon, I need to get cracking and get it finished up. It’s likely going to get cold now really soon.

Meanwhile it’s a full house in Hen House ‘A’.

I mean, Tortola is okay, but prices of food and other things are sky high (They use USD)! One thing that really shocked me was that, one small watermelon costed $12, when I could get a much bigger one back home for only $4!

Come up here to Canada - same deal, everything is very expensive. You are living in a place where you get food easily. On Tortola and here in Canada we are limited in where and how we get our food. And other commodities that are not easy to get here.

Tax on stuff
I limit the chooks intake of the textured layer, but they have free choice of the layer pellets and 21% starter. Both of which they also like.

Well, the thing is, there is absolutely no agriculture going on here, which is very weird. I've asked many locals, but they say that everything is imported.

Oh and FYI - all tourist places use USD 😁 it’s the currency all others are traded against.
