Holy moly, the singing is so catchy! And such a contrast to the metal- but my main takeaway is how exhausting their routine is.

Go watch their performance at Sonisphere. They weren't supposed to be on the main stage, but got moved last minute. The crouds there are TOUGH and singing in any language but English usually has terrible results. Generally I'm not a metal fan, but these guys are wow!

I have it on good authority from a sobered up although still disheveled Berthie that they started out the night with this.

Things started to get a little fuzzy from the Tequila while this was playing

A disapproving Queen Raven claimed that Berthie came staggering home belting out this when she had to get off the roost to escort her the final few feet home at dawn.

New Layer Confirmed

I caught the new layer on the nest super early this morning.

Good Morning fluffy butts and all!
I came back home to DVC at around 4:30 AM last night, and I could hear Ijak crowing to welcome me home. I got a small amount of sleep, and came out to the chooks.

Snow on Owen's Peak-Windy and 46 degrees Fahrenheit outside.

And when I opened the coop door, I was amazed on what I found!

Big, red combs, nice glossy, full and fluffy feathers, about 15 pullet eggs, some of them even in the nest boxes! I was so proud!
