I was just reading about Bantam Of The Opera

I made bone broth today. The chickens got some of the stuff that's left, after I drain out the broth. It has mashed veg, meat, and mashed up bones. The bones are so soft that I can mash them with my fingers.

Oh, yeah, good stuff, mom! Thanks!

Boy were the chickens NOISY today. At one point, the cacophony was such that I had to go check to make sure the girls weren’t alerting about a raccoon.

Well, no. It’s been roughly four months since this happened last so I simply forgot the routine: Quincy laid an egg today! And she is SO loud for SO long, every time. And apparently drags everyone else into the sympathy choir as well.
