I think that the tidbitting part is where he is better than Pastel. Pastel just tidbits at dirt sometimes…
Ohhh, yes. A wonderful “advertisement.” BBQ does attack him. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. That chicken will try to hurt him, even when he’s just dust bathing. She’s a mean little dinosaur.

Yes, I’ll have to give my phone to him and let him post it.
She's going for him (at least part of the time) because his body language says he's getting presumptuous. she's educating him on how to be well mannered.

Blanche, Nellie and Lark have decided the day is worth going back to bed.

(I haven't the heart to tell them snow/sleet is in the forecast all week...we need it though)

Off for some hand surgery tomorrow. I've had trigger finger. Hope this takes care of it after having some cortisone shots.
I had trigger finger in my left thumb. The surgery was painless (after the numbing shot), and the recovery went well. This was related to a previous work injury, so worker's comp paid for everything.

Last summer, I was starting to develop mild trigger finger symptoms in my left ring finger. It would "lock up" in the morning, but loosen as the day went on. It was very minor, but I didn't want to face surgery, as the cost would all be on me, since I'm retired.

I found if I laid my hand flat when I went to bed, the problem was less in the morning. I did that every night, and sometimes I'd rest my hand flat on my thigh or the table while I was sitting down.

I don't know if this "cured" the problem, but the symptoms did go away.

Good luck with your surgery, @Cynthia12! :hugs :hugs

Lovely. I see you still have some snow.

Last night, on AFV, there was a video of a chicken running in the house and two women were yelling about it and the two men ran into the kitchen but this one man trampled over the fence that I assume blocks dogs from going into the kitchen. What a waste of time because the chicken (looks like a rooster) had already exited the house.
