I know you previously posted where you got your treadle feeders, and I swore I had bookmarked it, but I can't seem to find it in my bookmarks. Could you please post again the purveyor?

Also:
If I remember correctly, you got the medium - about how much feed does each hold? (can you guestimate volume wise, since I fill things using a quart scoop - volume is how I mentally measure/figure out how much feed gets used daily, not weight wise)

And, if I remember correctly, you weren't originally using the feed lip (?called?) to prevent 'flicking - but I thought later you said you were going to...are you, and is it worth getting that, or not, in your opinion??

I am going to try the bucket feeder that @RoyalChick posted a looooong time ago (with an eyebolt - makes chickens work for their feed), but that really won't work for the ducks, even if it is great with the chickens.

We have a broody butt

I pulled her off the nest and let her go in the run. Last I saw she was getting a bite to eat.

Tis the season for the broodies to start up! Esp those Silkies I am crossing my fingers that mine don’t go broody till after I get eggs for my niece’s school to hatch - I will start collecting end of April!

The plan is to set the eggs 2nd of May, and chickies 19 days later

Not that I wanted to hatch eggs, I would rather buy pullets - but my niece wouldn’t go for the plan of setting fake eggs for the kids to watch over, and then one day half a dozen chicks show up

Noooo she wants me stressed or again with 3,000 roosterlets running around!!

Just my throat. I have been eating hot peppers lately (really hot ones) eyes watering because of the chemical distribution going on across the highway!
Yeah it’s that time of year. They’re growing almonds (because everyone wants their almond milk) I’m never really sure how they squeeze those almonds and get milk out.
