You did great in that case! Good job! I would also have been freaked out.

I have seen horses with halters embedded in their heads from owners putting a halter on a young horse and then not removing the halter as they grew. Those owners get some very strong words from me. Can you imagine trying to cut an embedded halter off an 800lb crazy yearling?

Ok well you did a great job, when you get back you can check them again 🥰
Thank you!

You’ve seen that in person? I’ve seen it in videos and stuff, but never in person. I would be horrified. And I could not imagine trying to get a halter like that off of a horse that is undoubtedly unhandled. There are such awful people in this world, and then there are people who are amazing and kind. I don’t like very many people because most people around where I am from are pieces of crap, to put it nicely…

Awe, my plane is delayed a bit. It’s bad enough that the layover is two and a half hours, but now the plane is gonna be a bit late.

I’m boarding my flight to DC in a few minutes. I’ll hop on here when I get there. I need to go back about 30 pages and read up.
Tax: I wanted the Wyandotte’s so badly 🥰

Rooster training is a tough job. I spent all night with Longitude (Tude the Dude) and it’s been a struggle getting him to do anything I ask for. He knows how to eat, and he knows how to poop,
But he teases the big girls, so I separated him from them for the night. They used to get along pretty well.
I’m thinking of changing his name to “Attitude”! IMG_4248.jpeg

A new roo? I really need to go back and read pages, but my phone is at 14.

Silkie people (do we have only here on FBA?)

The silkie eggs I have my niece are at 20 days now.

3 of the 5 blue eggs have hatched and the remaining 2 have pipped.

So far none of the silkie eggs have pipped - ?

I have asked my niece to candle them tonight after school. What do you all think??

I think Wyandotte is going to be the next little guy in my life. He loves getting his wattles rubbed. He’s very affectionate and comes to me when I call him. He’s different than my other one.
I’m trying very hard not to get too attached to him or any of them. My heart is still torn wide open from what happened to Sir Jaffar. (The most magnificent rooster ever born) :(
