I just took this video, it’s day 3 and a half for this chick, she hatched aboit 5am Saturday morning.

Gosh - it’s contagious! Now I definitely have Dorothy broody. I have had Larry’s last egg she laid sitting here I am trying to talk myself into hatching if to see what I get. Likely a blooming Roo.

If I hold onto that egg long enough it will be late to set it.

Awe, Kelly, you’re going to make me cry. You never know until you try though.
I say try to hatch it out

Wait until you have to work full time - get up at 4am do chores and clean stalls, go to work for 7am then come home at 4:30 and do afternoon and evening chores.

WOW, THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE BEYOND MY EXPERIENCE. I HAVE A VET FOR THIS TYPE OF MEDICAL ADVICE. POOR THING!

This person has received lots of advice from us all - sure hope their wee chooks are ok.

I worm my chooks a couple times a year. I do not want to ever find round worms in my eggs!

Yes round worms can be present in an egg if the infestation now heavy enough.
