It is over the century mark in the coop with the broodies.

So I have cracked the coop side and added a second fan. Hopefully we can drop the temp a little.

Dominance

Phyllis attacked Glynda twice this morning while she was off the nest in demonstrations of Phyllis' dominance. I fear that is what the nest box stuff is about, dominance. It worries me that Glynda might give up if Phyllis causes too much trouble.

If she does and you can catch it, tuck the eggs under Lady F. As they were set the same time, hatch should be close (egg/hen varies). She's big enough to be able to cover them too.

Wow! That’s warm, similar here. Poor Lulu I never got around to clipping her this weekend. BIL had me all wore out fixing stuff.

No doubt but Phyllis would likely move on to Lady after that. If it's dominance.

Can you cordon off that location with some mesh or safety fencing? Just a barrier to prevent her from getting close. You’ll likely want to keep her away from the mamas once the babies hatch anyways.
