That’s so sad, my horses were a bit jittery, but my wee chicks were very alert and restless. I was worried about them, being ill and having to deal with more stress. You should live here! Illegal fireworks and firecrackers going off all hours sporadically since April. Just get ready to sleep and suddenly someone sets off firecrackers or noise bomb that rattles the house!
The hens and pullets got used to the noises but dogs in the neighborhood bark their heads off, poor things.
I received the Corid powder yesterday and started everyone on it. I was happy to see my wee ill chickie drinking it - yay. I am still keeping a guarded watch on her.
I will feel better once she starts holding her wing feathers light against her body, she is out and about and I see her pecking around. I have my fingers and eyes crossed for her.
Well I am just waiting for the Vet to
Come and give the horses their shots. Seems the older chicks have invaded my office.Jaffarra and Sweetie
