We had a look at the roof on Saturday and it looks good and so do all the screws.

Will need to be rehomed.

He and Mr P got into a huge brawl, I let it go until Mr P got hung up trying to get away running under the wheelbarrow, Bert wouldn’t let him go.

I threw Bert in the Hen House to ‘get a grip’. After a bit I let him out, and then they started up again.

I put Mr P in the Hen House ‘A’ with some of his harem closed that door, and closed the outer door so they could fight through the door.

There is no way I will risk Mr P he is not a young Roo, there is no way I will lock them up all the time. I will need to rehome Bert. As much as it makes me sad and upset this is what I need to do.

This brings to the forefront what to do with Mr LC. He is already getting feisty, I also do not want to have to lock him away all the time. And then there are the silkie chicks, my luck both Roos. Maybe I should do the dna test and get them rehomed while they are cute and small

And now there is Shorley to deal with.

I didn’t want more Roos. The reason I bought pullets supposedly from Peavey Mart.

He has been stellar until today. Not sure what set him off but I cannot keep him, I just posted the Ad in kijiji.

I will not let him go just anywhere. But he will need to be rehomed.

Ok all I am doing chores and heading to bed I am just upset and grumpy. Hopefully next week will be a better week.

Today, more wood hauling. Started with taking down the birch tree.

I will miss the bright white bark, but not the falling branches. Birds are curious about the growing wood pile, but have stayed off of it....for the moment

Tuff is definitely being a hormonal idiot.seems like Whiskey is the only one he respects, so poor Whiskey has the job of "rescue the screaming lady". Twirp seems to be a favorite target. She's nimble enough to evade. I'm kinda hoping Tuff corners her and she gets mad.... he needs to be taken down a few pegs by a girl.

We have a similar issue with the poplars, messy trees. Oh and the weeping Willows - they shed branches like crazy.

The horses have done a nice job of trimming up the low hanging weeping branches - they sure enjoy eating those.

Why is everyone laughing at Pony's reply? It seems like a good idea to me. Unless, y'all have watched West Side Story or other musicals or you've watched your chicken watch a musical and is completely immersed at it, you can laugh, but seriously, it's not a laughing matter. Y'all laugh at anything these days. I could post a picture of the pancakes I made for me and Old Man this morning and y'all will be cackling. Well, here are the said pancakes. They are cinnamon roll.

Laughing? I rarely laugh - show astonishment sure, but I like hearts more

High school musicals - wouldnt that be the same as a regular musical?

They laugh because they know I am a Newfoundlander and love a good jig or reel, and I enjoy belting out songs that I make up out of the tunes of songs and change the words around.
