Heat is so dangerous for chickens.

Yes I find they cope better with cooler temps than heat.

Have the fans going in the barn tonight. It’s very muggy and warm, bit of a thunderstorm right now - rain…. Just what I don’t need.

I have a whole town of homeless people, living in tents and cardboard boxes on the banks of the river near me. I wish the local government would just open up a few shelters for them to live in, maybe only temporary housing because of the heat wave!

Similar issue here but in the winter. And many won’t even go in a shelter when offered it. Lots of mental health and drug issue in these places.

What’s your humidity? If it low than an evaporative cooler will work great.

Humidity is very high here lately.

Awww so adorable, it’s good for them

Princess had 7 great hours today. After no time in the garden yesterday, it was so hard to get her back out in the back area
She ate so many ants and bugs and had a great chicken time

I’ll have to get my truck towed to my mechanic he’s just a few miles up the road.
