Been prayin & thinkin about Rosie's encounter w/ bi-polar nut! We have a bevvy of friends a
& relatives diagnosed under the bi-polar umbrella from mild GAD to full-blown schitzophrenia and the majority don't display violent behaviorial episodes. Some are on meds while some aren't. Any way you look at it violent behavior is a choice one makes if having an episode. Using bi-polar as an excuse for bad choices is not valid.

The friend we have w/ extreme schitzo is very aware of his condition & knows precisely when to take his meds and does not ever display rotten behavior while a distant relative w/ the same condition chooses to go into tirades to garner drama queen attention.

I have been wed to two bi-polars ~ one made choices to give into self-pity tirades, self medicate w/drugs/alcohol and suicide attempt while the other has made choices to deny self-pity and do good choices toward others & has belief in a supreme Creator.

I often wonder in God's creations if there isn't the same kind of choices attributed to animal beings. Just look at our chickens' personalities ~ how some are vicious, some indifferent, some sweeties? Environment & instinct causes them to adapt somewhat but it also brings out their inherent personalities to choose whether to be nasty or nice

That is so wonderful. You are very talented! Is that crotchet or knitting? I sewed wedding dresses and did hoop embroidery but never learned the fine art of hooks or needles! Show more when you do handiwork!

Wow that an interesting mix, legbar and silkie, though I would think it would be tan or pink. As far as I know legbars lay white eggs.

The only way she will get this light green eggs is if those legbars were actually like my Azur Blue - Leghorn x Auracana. They lay blue eggs.

That cross on a silkie would give light green eggs. Hmmmm maybe I will cross my Azur on a silkie Roo next year for my niece to hatch out!!!

Pony, quit chicken watching. Here's the last part you've anticipated.
Part 12 of the doctor trip.
Grandma has been fed up with the doctor since she got there. The doctor is fed up with Grandma since she isn't that good of a listener. Grandma confronted the doctor saying that she isn't a real doctor and the doctor went into an outburst saying that she is a real doctor but what kind of doctor wears a black Coachella Valley shirt? So the doctor confesses that they were, in fact, not a real doctor but rather the owner was Grandma's "doctor" this whole time. Grandma's owner figured that being a human doctor for a chicken was not worth it but Grandma smelling like eucalyptus sure was.
