Very pretty assortment of rings you have there!

The chickens think so too! They cant resist pecking & pulling at them or a band-aid finger!

A high speed pileup just happened on the 210 Fwy below our cul-de-sac that shook the neighborhood sound barrier. Fire engine sirens, round robin CHP blasts, all old hat to the chickens but the neighborhood dogs haven't stopped barking.

Our chickens slept all the way thru 4th of July firecrackers & sky rockets so when Fwy accident noises happen it doesnt phase them. Even the rumbling military and/or news copters overhead dont bother them ~ but a floating party balloon overhead & they'll watch it suspiciously till it disappears beyond the horizon

We have that same quote & pic on a hotplate someone gifted us. My DD saw all our collectibles & decided she'll stop gifting us any more chicken stuff

Another collectible I forgot about ~ it was an Easter decor ~ appropriate for the holy day, eh?

I let them grow and call it a wildflower meadow.

That is how I got the artemesia that the chickens love so much. It just thrived under my neglect.

That's the plan for our power line right of way

If I took out all the chicken stuff I have, then there would not be enough room on my kitchen table.
I cherish every one of them. Given to me in love by my wonderful friends.

I know what you mean. I've donated some small knic knacs we picked up here & there but gifts are more precious and kept. There's a whole 5-shelf bookcase that's been turned over to gifts that we haven't even photographed yet and don't get me started on the outdoor chicken stuff

After previously posting over 50 pics of chicken stuff there's still more.

Finished an egg collecting basket. I uh...got distracted by the toddler at one point and I guess added another increase row? The outside was too big! I left the pockets but they aren't quite as secure as I'd like. Oh well.

In use this evening

Very sturdy, the handle is doubled up with different stitches to make it less stretchy.

The number of eggs I planned it to hold
the outermost two pockets seem a little unsecure, might be best for tiny eggs

It does hold them properly, I just didn't get that one egg wiggled in enough haha.

I gave each one a little pat goodnight. The mommas let me get away with so much
