Thank you.I am so sad to hear of Glynda’s passing!
She was so beautiful, and such a sweet girl.
I am so sorry for your loss.![]()
Thank you. It means a lot. I am very grateful for all the virtual hugs.Im very sorry for your loss and hope its not the bird flu who got her. (Unlikely too this time of the year).
As you know I didn’t follow your thread (because it takes too much of my time to catch up and follow) . Once in a while I do read a few post, and with this one I felt such sorrow I really needed to reply.

Citrus fruits are listed on this website as toxic to chickens.I know I'm grasping at straws, but I'd be giving them clementines oranges and all sorts now.
You were supposed to give her all of the peaches.I got a good haul of peaches. I suspect the raccoons will strip the trees over night so that may be the last of them.
Also got a good haul of apples. I kept a wary eye out for bears. For some reason the bears love the apples but not the peaches.
Tax is Piglet demanding her share of peaches. As you can see, she already has a crop full!

Owners who have tried offering cut open oranges to their flocks say the chickens ignore them. Anyone else know?
