Search by color and long tail beings up Loggerhead Shrike. Call doesn't fit. Northern Shrike juvenile call fits, but they're a winter bird here (supposedly). Both are uncommonly seen here.Those look like Whisky Jacks (Grey Jays) but they are a northern country bird so I am not sure if they would be down your way. I see them here only in the winter.
They are super friendly and learn fast to ‘train’ us Hoomans to feed them.
