Thank you. Yes I set her that afternoon. Ok so then day 21 will be the 10th. If my broody girls have taught me anything I will start looking for possible hatching on the 8th.
So glad I could help. I reference dates of this thread all the time.

This is true. And good to know it’s out there, if I need to give to Butterscotch I am sure my horse vet can get it for me.

She and Petunia have an issue with soft and brittle eggs. I keep hoping they will mount and reset their factory!
Mount???? Mount what? Isn't that Mr Pompeii's job?

You know, I'm nearly 61 and I have never made jelly. I have frozen juice in my freezer years old, because I'm afraid of screwing it up!
All my little hens are snug in their coop. 4 Reds to the left, 3 older girls to the right. We have about 12 feet of unused roost!
They're all roosting! Good job!

Someone should start a first egg pool. Date and color. 😆
Go Aster! 😄
It is a super fun idea ~ but in all honesty color is the least of my curiosity w/ our own hens. After years of losing so many Breda to hardiness issues, Silkie handicaps, chick deaths, or Dominique heatstrokes we've become helicopter chicken parents ~ at this point I'm thrilled just to see the girls healthy & alive! :ya

Chicken math will fill up that space :lau

Yep it’s great when they thrive ♥️
