Gosh they are HUGE now! how do you keep them so clean?

That squash plant is awesome! and so easy to grow too, I always tell people to grow them as they are idiot proof to grow. Even I can grow them :)
I would love the answer to that

Gosh they are HUGE now! how do you keep them so clean? @Ponypoor : as long as they have water to bathe in, they pretty much keep themselves clean! They are definitely smaller than the adults - but they are pretty big. A lot fo 'fluff', though, as they only weigh (I'm guessing) about 10-12 lbs. The female is the smallest. They still need to 'fill-out' to get to adult size/weight.

Yes, easy to grow when they sprout and grow themselves!!!!

Most of the blossoms won't bear fruit, thought - it is still flowering up a storm - and we generally get a first frost in a couple of weeks, and a killing frost in about a month. I'm hoping I can get a couple dozen fruits to give to the chooks for boredom busters over the next few weeks. I've found 2 and harvested them - they need to be gotten youngish before the skin starts to toughen - while the flesh is still tender, too. The only other ones I've seen so far are about the size of a quarter or a silver dollar - still a ways to go on those!

Squash/gourd tax talk:
a couple of 'tweens' (and a fluffy butt bomber), in the cute honking stage! Honks are starting to change, though, so I am guessing in a week or two they will start to sound like adults.:( They are about 3 months+ old.

I have a few honkers here, they are about that age also.

Welcome! Those are beautiful fluffy derrière you have there, how many do you have?

Feel free to join in!
Only 5 (for now 😆). We either need to seriously modify our crappy little prefab coop or buy/build a bigger one before we can add more

I'm sure I'll pop in here plenty to see what everyone's up to with their own fluffy butts!
