Cher. Was married to Sunny Bono. Sang this song. 🎶 “do you believe in life after love?”
I do. If love is refering to being with a partner.
My life has improved by millions since being on my own with my animals. Eating what I want and only having to talk to people I can bear, most of the time that is.

Sometimes you have to talk to awkward nasty people, in certain situations and try very hard to be courteous and pleasant or you could land up in very deep 💩 💩

Mine wouldn't wouldn't even go near it. It wouldn't open anyway
I was always worried some dingaling would be standing to the side eating and the bird on the treadle would step off it and clunk clobber the one eating from the side! Or some small silkie would hop into the open lid and clunk get stuck inside!

I can imagine all sorts of dangerous situation - it's a byproduct of having horses.....

Yay! Pony Sunday!

My new 'pen' for the goslings. They are big enough now that they are not in danger from Birds of Prey...so an open top-pen is okay. 16' cattle panels make up their pen (faced with dog exercise panels so a fox or what not can't climb through.)

This makes it soooo much easier as their coop & pen don't have to be moved every day. They seem to like the additional space - first thing they did was run around the perimeter flapping their wings and honking up a storm!:)

And - our rogue squash plant that has overtaken our compost pile: (and yes, it is 1 plant!)

The compost pile is about 20-24' long and about 6-7' wide (at the base) - and it has completely overtaken it.

And, as I suspected from the white flowers - it is a gourd - seems to be one of the 'birdhouse gourd' plants.

Good news is that I picked 2 'young-ish' gourds that were still quite tender - split them open, and the chooks devoured them! I kept the neck of one to try - was like eating zuchinni.

And, I missed 'Fluffy Butt Friday':

and early stages of moulting butt. She has lost her longer tail feathers. Photo bomber to the left is in heavy moult right now.

Gosh they are HUGE now! how do you keep them so clean?

That squash plant is awesome! and so easy to grow too, I always tell people to grow them as they are idiot proof to grow. Even I can grow them :)
