I'm thinking of how to winterize my stuff too already! I have some tarps but I don't know how much of the run they'll cover. I need to reinforce the "roof" with some zig-zagged rope on top.

I put chicken wire over the frame for the roof on the run. It supports the tarp between the bars. It also helps support the snow load in the winter.

Hubby got the nestbox holes cut for the coop. Then it's making the roost bar braces, screwing in the branches we chose, then staining everything and making the roof for both parts.
