Last time I had covid I had to go to the hospital. Bananas should prevent that though. They are that unbelievably great after all

It’s official. I have five useless hens.
The Rockettes are all in a stage of molt. Zebra feathers are everywhere. The little ones haven’t started laying yet. And I don’t expect any eggs from the roosters. So my little barnyard is out of business.

So sorry about that

Laying year round is why I like our Silkies. They don't seem to have a rhyme or reason what season they moult, or lay eggs, or go broody. Maybe it's our milder climate area

Guess who has Covid

My DD & I had it in 2020 ~ just like any other miserable flu. The only difference is we couldn't smell or taste for about 3 months afterwards. It attacks the olfactory system. Bedrest for a week (no chores) & drinking plain water is good & you can't taste food at all so no appetite.

I was worried about our birds getting it but they apparently were immune to covid TG!
