I hope you are right. I'd love another orpington.I'm seeing spots. Aster is a splash. I'm still betting on splash orpington.

WHOOZAWATZIT ~ you created a new breed! She's a splash whoozawatzit!
So sad to see them go? I hope splitting them up in separate cages doesn't stress the little guys since they knew each other as babies? So hard re-homing birdsCaught the boys and loaded them into the quarantine/broody cage. Gave em some peanuts for their troubles. Trickster made me chase him down, I was able to get the others as they came out of the coop.

A Muddy Buddy, Cocoa Puff, and Disco as well. I hope they like their new lives at the farm. The lady said she was splitting her flock into multiple coops/runs and wants boys for each set.
They look rough because of the rain we've had this week but I gave em each a once over and they are healthy.
I forget who you got them off of. I do remember their list of breeds kept changing. I'd just about bet money at some point their website has BBS orps listed. I would also bet the Lavender eggs are more expensive which is why they may not be owning up to their mistake.I hope you are right. I'd love another orpington.
THEM are some BEE-OO-tiful girls!!!And today is day 175 of being judged by Jingle. She looks about ready to go talk to the managerView attachment 3951473
So stately! Laced feathers are so pretty. Don't worry about his idiot stage ~ that'll happen when he starts dancing around the girls! You'll get plenty of chuckles thenMy roo is growing up so handsome :View attachment 3951485View attachment 3951486
I will ask her to give me updates on them if she wants to. I'm sure when they get used to their flocks they'll do fine.So sad to see them go? I hope splitting them up in separate cages doesn't stress the little guys since they knew each other as babies? So hard re-homing birdsbut going to a good home is best.
