Princess had hardly any time or attention yesterday it was the worst time for her because of the virtually impossible situations I had to cope with but I managed feeding her and the cats.

My dog had roast chicken with pumpkin and vegetables. Princess was upset and wouldn't eat her pumpkin but it was too late when I got it to her.
Today she's had yogurt all mixed into chop choy pumpkin, layers with a little mixed corn she's really enjoying raw chop choy in the garden. She's had some cottage cheese which she loves after her hearty breakfast

Mrs Little Chicken

Is now also in with Mr P. Yesterday she was just about clobbered by Rosario when he tried to breed her, I was so freaked out, I could have put him in the freezer right then and there.

Anyways she is ok, but I now have her in with Mr P and his ladies. That’s her sitting on top of Flopsy’s crate, and Mr P is fighting with Bert through the door, all the other ladies are ignoring him.

Ignore the red rope hanging from the ceiling, it’s for hanging my Sweeter Heater from. I will need that soon I bet, but not today - it’s a glorious 15c (59f) going up to 24c (75F), practically unheard of for this time of year!!!! Can you tell I am thrilled with the weather?

What a friiiiiight!!!! TG they were all accounted for! You & my DH today both of you looking for hens after chasing off a snoopy Cooper's! 2 broody Silkies were brooding in coop nests unaware of anything so DH wasn't worried about them. & the 3 older hens (1 Dom & 2 oldest Silkies) hid well under patio junk. But our littlest youngest Blue Silkie Betta was hiding better than any of them. She took the longest to find.

I detest the House Sparrows that are invitations for hawks but at the same time the Sparrow alarms alert our hens to immediately hide.

I highly recommend it. Lots of side benefits.

Beautiful ladies

Aster is really turning into a gorgeous pullet isn’t she

She is fascinating and adorable. She took food from my hand on Saturday for the first time. It took 3 days off handing ham scaps to the others before she trusted me enough to do so.

The only problem is I keep calling her Glynda.
