I wanted to give y'all proof that Ned does hang with the flock and is not chased off.🙂

I was also able to get a picture of Goldie and Lucky spending time together.

Since "wild water" is so much better then fresh water, I installed one in the layers run. I got a few pictures of Stanley and his girls. Everyone has such lovely feathers again!

It's so good to see Lucky. Mrs BY Bob was asking about her. She is looking very pretty and is unique in her coloring. She is going to be a very pretty bitsa!

No, I think they manage pretty well. I check for mites when I do a general mite check but the Pestene and Neem Leaf dust seems to keep them in check.
Mrs BY Bob was always opposed to feathered feet as she did not want to have to clean them.

Is it possible that chickens can fall out of love with me? I don't seem to get the same responses, that I used to get? No interest in lap sitting, and the hens seem more stand offish than usual. It feels like, they don't want to be touched. (But they still eat from my hand)
Very unusual for my flock to act this way.
Every flock deals with loss in their own way. They are grieving too. Give them some time and I bet things will return to normal.
