Yesterday afternoon turned out lovely, it was like June here too.
I didn't sleep at all last night my shoulder and hip is out of action

Our weather is very peculiar and it's really cold at night.. it rained through last night and early hours of this morning.

Mrs Little Chicken

Has joined the ranks of laying hens.

She laid this wee beautiful egg just now. I know it’s hers because I had her and Flopsy in the summer house on their own sitting in nest boxes.

Not sure who the other punk egg is from but for size comparison.

That’s actually a pretty decent sized egg for such a wee chicken!

Here she was at hatch, she always has had these bald eyebrows.

I've never seen that before. Wild.

My little CeeCee became a full member of the hen club a few days ago. Blue eggs too!

And really do need to deal with Rosario and shorty though. They are too big and rough even for the big hens.

I need to rehome Bert too.

It's so sad. I'm sorry they can't get along. Oh Bert! I'm so disappointed in you.

Good morning Marie, it’s Monday. Back to work for me, tired this morning but I am eggcited for a warmup here. Mother Nature is gone off the rails here - starting tomorrow back to weather more in-line with June.

Overnight lows are the key here, normally it’s around freezing like this morning, but look at those I have underlined. Wow!

I’ll take it even though it’s not normal.
