I really love to mess with people. At a drive through fast food restaurant, I would pay for my meal and pay for the car behind me. It really messes with their heads and the cashier doesn’t know what to say. It’s hilarious 😂
In my defense, I have had so many people pay for my breakfast or lunch that I don’t feel guilty about buying someone else’s meal

Someone is crowing as of Yesterday morning. Dad assumed it is George. Whoever it was was crowing while still in the coop and he never actually saw who was doing it. This morning same thing, crowing in the coop. I let them out and tried to sneak around and catch whoever was making the strangled cry. I heard it once coming around the side of the house. I was spotted and no more crowing just fight around the door of the coop to be let out. I then sat outside, freezing for 20 minutes watching and waiting and nothing. Not another sound. I could go out and try to encourage a crow from whoever is doing it but I will not. I love to hear a rooster crowing don't get me wrong. It is nice though when they only crow a few times in the morning and are silent the rest of the day. I will catch the guilty party before the week is out.
Little farts hahaha. Well keep us apprised! I am hoping it’s just George and not one of the silkies ♥️😊

This morning Mr LC came marching into the feedroom, hopped up onto the floor fan and let rip a cocorico in my ear, I may be deaf in that ear now…. Anywhoooo he then hopped down and marched back out the doorway down the alleyway and into one of the stalls.

“Morning to you too little man, thanks for clearing the earwax out”

Two for Tuesday
He is so much smaller than those hens hahaha I think that is Ruth with him.

It’s a common thing here, and is termed ‘paying it forward’. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Yes, the egg production of chickens goes down by 20% each year which means supposedly less broodiness. By 5-yrs old my Silkies stop laying. I've had only one Silkie lay in her 6th year but she had ovarian cancer & put down at the vet or she would've bled to death anyway.
Poor wee chickie. It’s such a good thing she had you as her Hooman ♥️

I haven’t had an egg from my silkies in months really.

White Chickens Rock! They are gorgeous!

Neither of mine are really white. But they have a lot of white feathers. Many of which are floating around the floor of the Chicken Palace!
Piglet is Opal or Isabel or something like that. And Sylvie is just a muddle because she is supposed to look like Bernie but with silver hackles instead of gold. She didn’t read that memo so I have no idea what color she is!

Our 2 oldest Silkies will be 4 in November. Ginny hasn't layed in months, but Suzu has been a laying/broody fool this year. Worries me when they lay too much, and disappointed and worry when they don't lay enough :idunno. I just worry, I guess.
