Kiddo got a good haul, she started off next door and guess what gramma and grampa gave her?

Then we went into the nearest town and she got to see her other grandparents...in fact we parked at their house so she got treats from them twice!
We now have a crisper drawer full of candy, that'll be rationed out until at least Thanksgiving.

He enjoys a bedtime stroke like the rest of the hens. He also scooched over on the roost bar when I went to add Bab last night, then snuggled up to her. Very adorable.

Just curious because I'm Catholic, and we have All Souls' Day even though most people in the US don't.

I have a Catholic relative & never heard about it from them. I heard about it from media sources.

The USDA is reporting 20 birds affected but they are "WOAH non-poultry". That would make them a back yard flock where all products are for single family consumption. I haven't been able to learn much more. What is your source saying?

That's interesting, it's called all saints day here. Or is it two different things ? People go the the graveyard to honour their dead. It's a public holiday. We're a secular country, except when it comes to holidays.

She really was. Now with some distance I can bear to share more pictures of her.
Although looking at that picture again I think it was Eli not Babs. I don’t associate Eli with a fluffy butt, but even from that angle I think the blue and gold would show more in Babs.
