I’m glad you are being more safe now. I have been fine. I’m having some heart issues, which is worrisome, but I see a cardiologist in two weeks.

The Darlings, as I call the hens, have been doing pretty well. They’re almost all through molt. I had to tube feed Minnie Minnie through part of it, and now she enjoys snuggles, even though she was raised by Cashew!

Here are the girls a couple weeks ago…
Gosh scary for you! Take care of yourself! Oh I am sure you are♥️ I hope the cardiologist has some good news.

Speaking of moulting, I have been dealing with this for a couple months now. They are dragging it out….

Cardiologist in two weeks? Lucky for you. They make me wait months for a visit. And I still haven’t received permission from the insurance company, for a follow-up visit. :old:rant:hit

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to change your post. I wrote over your post by accident.
I'm rather familiar with mischief makers. Raised by, married to, and raised more... I'll call you on it and still love you for being Alex, another mischief maker.

More wyandottes. Silver was such a sweet queen, I fell in love with wyandottes and always want some in my tribe. Jessica was a great mother, too. Buster (our first roo, silver laced idiot) we made mistakes with him (re: roo behavior) and got him in the midst of his hormonal idiocy phase. He had started settling down when the foxes made off with most of the tribe. He put up quite the fight. I want another wyandotte roo at some point, also.

It’s Rudy and Wyandevil that don’t get along. If Rudy is trying to mate, then Mr. Wyandottey will attack him, and vice Versa
The hormonal idiocy phase is a lesson in patience. At least with chickens it's only about a year long. In humans, it's roughly 10-13 years long depending upon when the start, when they exit, gender, and how many others they're with at any given moment.
