Proof of Life

The ladies are doing well. I took them some corn and sunflower seeds to give them something to scratch for this afternoon.

They are looking great, hopefully this evil cold will abate by the weekend. Bet they enjoying digging around for that!

I lost one last night that froze.

I can’t believe the three that they lay in the hidey-hole they have didn’t freeze! Someone must have been sitting on them for a while to prevent freezing.

It is -2°F (-19°C) outside this morning but 11°F (-12°C) in the big coop. The girls are all gathered around one of the heat panels this morning.

They will be locked in the next few days to keep them out of the extreme cold.
