G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S !!! Look at those spurs! Why did they part w/such a beautiful boy!
Spurs that long I would say he has a few yes on him. That’s a good thing, he is past to dingaling jerk stage!!

Speaking of spurs I really need to trim Mr P’s…… not sure how I will do that on my own. Last time I had my BIL to help.

He's so quiet and wasn't interested in wormies just a bit ago. I hope he settles in and perks up.

He's so beautiful. I will add some electrolytes and probiotics to his water bowl.

Surprisingly he lets me pick him up. Original owner said he was the bottom rooster that was getting picked on. He keeps an eye on the kid when she's nearby though, so he isn't blind.

Waking up in a strange place is always scary and frustrating. Soon enough, he’ll be the master of all he surveys.

I found my CeeCee in the front yard again tonight. She can get over the fence somehow, but she can’t get back over to the coop yard. (Now I’m out of breath) :he
Oh boy, ya I have a few like that. They can fly over the fence but are clueless to fly back in. Race up and down the fence in a panic so I have to go rescue them.

I hope to get some netting up on the fencing to stop them, but can’t do this until the treat of snow is gone.

Good evening everyone. I was getting ready to head to bed when CeeCee snapped up from a dead sleep and ran to the back door insisting to be let out. I have came to learn, especially at night, when CeeCee wants out, let her out. She bolted down the back steps sounding like a grizzly bear and tore into something. By the time I got the barn light on and could see it was all over.

CeeCee 5 now I think in the last year and a half. Possum 0.

What is it CeeCee?

It is dead, I made sure of it. CeeCee is refusing to come in. She is still shaking her new toy like a rag doll. I will let her have another few minutes with her reward before I make her come in for the night.
Good CeeCee. Good guard dog!
