Happy Friday everyone.
Here are some fluffy butts from a cold and windy but very sunny day here at the Chicken Palace.
Don’t ask what Calypso and Pooh are doing!
I had lined up a beautiful fluffy butt shot of broody Tassels and she chose that moment to deposit two days worth of broody poop. You really do not need to see (or smell) that. How does a relatively small creature contain so much poop? A good sized dog would not have been ashamed of the volume that Tassels produced. And then she went again!
She is not good at getting off the nest on her own, but if I drag her off she does forage and bathe before rushing back.

I'm really tired out today. It's been a stressful few weeks again.
Nancy had a lovely time today. We met an old guy that really took to her and threw her ball almost a dozen times.
She is now bringing the ball back and getting really praised for this every time.

They both are much less rumpled looking. I believe Buffy might be finishing a molt? She hasn't dropped feathers since arriving but I think she's filled in.
Marble is just the most passive dude.
None of these dang birds will let me get a fluffy butt picture!!! Grrr!
