I may have to do that to have her in a good position; so far for the shoes she's been a darling, just standing peacefully at the sink. She pecks at the aloe plant there and hangs out. Lets me lift her foot to position the shoe under it and even tape it. When she's on my lap she lets me extend either leg out behind her to look at, sometimes extended in front a little, or below her. So I'll have to experiment. I don't want her getting overheated in a towel if possible (she would be inside the house for this).
Oh she sounds like Laverne, she let me fiddle with her toe no problem.

Well, here’s the situation:
I found the real Nacho under the table in the front yard. She’s brooding a clutch of eggs. No wonder my neighbor is angry with the situation, his laying hens are all over here. Both of the game hens are working on motherhood.
He will be getting his birds back and more. I’m not keeping any more game Fowl. They aren’t friendly enough for my court.

Maybe see if you can find someone humane to take the chicks. Maybe your pastor will be happy to have a few.

Here my Twofer! 6 week old EE and a 5 week black austra. Fun in the coop this morning🐥 It’s been pouring here for days and I’m looking forward to some sunshine to finish the run!

I absolutely adore Silkies' fluffy vulture hocks. Most feather-footed breeds have vulture hocks (like Breda, d'Anvers. D'Uccles, Cochin, Brahma, Sultans, Marans, etc) but only fluffy Silkies have that extra extra extre floofy trait on their hind quarters 💕

Cold but sunny here today.
Twofer for Tuesday is Calypso supervising Sylvie in the spa. Crazy Tassels is still broody. I don’t think the broody jail makes any difference to her.

We still have one hard broody Silkie while all the others were easy to break. Too bad for her she's locked out of the nestboxes like everybody else!
