Ten minutes with my birds, that beautiful little garden would be desolate

I need to get some big flat trays so I can plant THEIR seeds. We bought them fodder/cover mix, and yellow clover. I wish Shenron was still alive for clover. That fella would dance and jump for clover flowers.

Sounds like you have attack chickens! Sic them on intruders and teach them to steal wallets! CRIMES TIME

All four coops are cleaned, sprayed with that lovely citronella scented bugspray, and have fresh bedding. Don't tell my kiddo that the chick coop is cleaned, because she won't get more chicky babies for a while yet. Buffy yelled and growled at me when I scooched her and Marble to the run extension, but I gave her some extra straw to scratch through. The seeds (rye?) Are opening in the straw so it's extra fun for the chicky birds.

My birds plant recycled seeds all over my yard. Instant fertilizer too!

These littles are making me and mama crazy . They are going everywhere. Exploring and finding dangerous places for little chicks to be going. Outside is worse with 12 hungry stray cats just waiting for a free chicken dinner

I should just pack every one of them up in a box, fly over Eugene Oregon and airdrop them to fuentemoon’s yard!

Yesterday was my first day off this month. Really glad that I won't be working such a stretch again soon. Eighteen days with only 1 day off is too many!
Last week Cassia decided to try out crowing, I told her that while she had a rather good and lovely crow she was a hen and it was better if she focused on laying eggs instead.

Now for my sad news. Ruca passed away in the dark hours between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. We had 14 years together, she was around 18. Rest in peace beautiful dinosaur. 2007-4/3/2025
