I tried it yesterday. Didn’t work. But I did see both mamas with their two babies in my yard this morning. I tried to catch mama and my two little ones, but they are just too fast to catch
If they roost in the hen house with your lot then nigjt time is the time to catch them.

Or maybe they are ground roosting outside with the babies. I am sure you have checked for gaps at the bottom of your fencing so they can’t crawl under.

What I would do is put up some of that black netting on top of your fence so they can’t fly over. Just a couple feet of it added to the top and of they tried to fly over they will bounce off of it. That should keep them contained.

Containment isn’t the issue here. Those birds love it here and call it home. It’s the neighbors birds coming over to forage and feed and mix with my birds. Then they stay here. You probably would too if you were eating steak 🥩 shrimp 🍤 and cheese that I use for treats a bit. My Cluckingham Court is open for any weary travelers and chooks.
Ps. That neighbor trashed the back fence and never repaired it.

Well if he damaged you fence he is required to have it repaired. Your township should enforce this.

I'll be over soon. I like a bit of cheese now and then 😋

Remember a couple yrs ago I had lice here? I treated with horse bug spray - worked like a charm. I sprayed all the Hen House and nestboxes with it and replaced the shavings which I also sprayed down and mixed the spray onto the shavings.

Spray the vent, belly under the wings and neck/crest.

Yup that long feathers can hide stuff easily. But I don’t think they are more prone to getting it than others - I bet that the two new boys brought it home to you. That’s how mine were infected - those two Azur pullets.

One of the creepy crawly evil critters I found on myself after handling Mr P
