Okay, so indulging in some gender guessing. Pebble really looks to be getting a more prominent comb. Silkie experts can you weigh in? Nyx has almost no comb in comparison.

Well Jolly was just always chirpy wouldn’t shut up hahaha.

Then he started getting longer thicker feathers mixed in his tail feathers.

Same as Clyde did.

Holly didn’t get any thicker different feathers though. Nor Georgie Girl.

And then he started to get longer feathers on his topknot, but because I was always trimming it I wasn’t as sure with that.

When I opened the coop this morning, I found Blanche had passed. She had been up on the roost last night. She had been a little off for a bit, then perked up, then gone. Also reproduction issues: soft shell here and there. She would have been 4 end of the month, along with Cheetah, Nellie, and PITA.

Last pic of her, taken WednesdayView attachment 4130139

Okay, so this just showcases how little difference there is because I can't tell at all. They truly are impossible to tell by looks it seems. Well, I will just stop my guessing, hope for the best, and wait for eggs or a crow.

I knew by week two in your photos that your other wee boy was a boy. Just his stance alone gave it away.

Those two look like pullets to me.
I don't want to jinx myself but the head poofs and tails look like ladies too me......

Next time you suspect boy, speak up.

Dream is starting to get a head poof. :3 she's so cute. These girls do not want to be played with, but I know Leghorns are flighty.

Cleaned the baby brooder today. They're 2 weeks old! 20250523_184259.jpg
Owl judging me for daring to give them thicker shavings this time. Tempted to write an article on this style brooder, it's so easy to clean and the chicks are so happy in here.
