The Red (RIR pullet) wasn’t roosting at lockdown tonight. Saw her an hour before. Heard nothing. Sigh. Hope she turns up in the morning.

Oh that’s worrying. And also why I don’t free range - to much stress and worry for me. Bad enough I have my escape artists who are some of my prettiest hens, and Laverne my Lavender Orpington - the brat!

Hoping she turns up.

Princess did this to me countless times then suddenly appeared when meal worms were served up the next day.
