One could move to Texas. One could be neighbors with this one. One could have a good time. One would probably hate our summer weather, though.

There is really no perfect weather place (well maybe the Turks and Caicos - not counting the odd hurricane), what I would love is a complex where I have everything indoors in the winter (nice swimming pool, indoor tropical garden for the chooks, indoor arena for the horses…), and then I can open doors and roofs in the summer and everyone can enjoy the summer heat

And then there would be 4,000 chooks running around between the two of us! Hahahaha

No you both come to Kentucky. Then we can have 6,000 chooks and many horses between us all. After all, you cannot beat that KY Bluegrass for your horses.

Also it helps my ledges are only 2’ off the ground with a step stool and small crate to use to hop up. Not that the Noirans need help they can already flap up there!

Once Whiskers is in with that group will set up some proper steps so that she can get the wee ones up there.

Getting up there isn’t the issue. Geronimo just launches herself and Cookie hops onto the brooder first, but Tassels believes in going to bed early in the cardboard box brooder.
Maybe once they don’t all fit the babies will protest!

What a wonderful idea. Like a big automated greenhouse dome that would close over in winter.
I could do with one of those too!
