Me and Mr Wyandottey, are in the house now, discussing his future. If (and I’m pretty sure he is) the father of that lovely little chick, then there’s chick $upport, safety with other chooks, and henamony.
He will have to work his tail feathers off to pay for all that! Mr Wyandottey probably doesn’t even realize that leaving his hen to support herself and baby is wrong!
:old
She leave the baby to be supported by him when she's done being mama....

I just read that mycoplasmosis has a sweet odour. So I am thinking this is the cause.

If it’s anything like coccidia or other enteritis the Tylosin will also help.

They seem to be eating and drinking, and as long as they continue to eat and drink the Tylosin water I will have guarded hope.

I gave the wee one a couple more cc’s of the Tylosin water, also some sulphatrim, and she felt very hot and seemed very uncomfortable so I gave her a half dose of Tylenol.

If I haven’t killed her by morning I will have a bit more hope. 😳 I am throwing everything at her but the kitchen sink.

I’ll give her some honey water in the morning. Luckily enough I can tube syringe her with the fluids.

Yes, mostly Canadian geese. I haven’t figured out how to charge them rent quite yet. I keep hearing “just put it on our bill!”
They never pay! :th
I think your honkers are the same group that fly V-formation over our place on their stops at the Santa Fe Dam.

Or... maybe a Gizmo offspring?
I don’t think so. I haven’t had “the talk” with him yet. He knows that I believe in the holy bond of marriage before anything else happens. I took Giz and his game bird family to church that time. I don’t think he would stray off that narrow path. He’s a sweet and honest rooster.

If you believe that, I have some prime property for sale cheap in the Florida Everglades. Plenty of wildlife and waterfront on all sides! :lau :smack

Next time I’m up flying with them I will tag one with gps so you can track them if you wish. But you are probably right. Maybe you should dig a swimming pool, because I bet they are tired having flown over the “grapevine” :idunno

Here seems to be fine.

Or make a separate thread here:

Better photo handling? Sideways isn’t better handling (just saying)

Gizmo (because I like this picture of him) IMG_5446.jpeg
