Hi all, I've been lurking on this thread for a while - mostly far back. I just wanted to comment on how gorgeous Tilly is, because I have 2 beautiful Polish myself. I originally got them because I thought my grandchildren would love them but I fell in love with their quirky, spunky little personalities. I will include pictures of them now and the big 8 girls as appropriate.

They are beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing. I just love these polish chickens. They have such great personalities and are really sure candy. I'm glad I was able to draw you out with my story.

I am seeing some very odd things on here with links since the upgrade. It’s very hard to distinguish from what is a link and what is the actual content.

Is anyone else having these crazy looking links?

Not a big fan of so. In fact could be a huge dealbreaker with me.

Screen on dark mode doesn't have that issue. Black background, white/tan letters. Dont remember how I got that set up, though. Maybe @notabitail can help figure that out...?

Well I came home to some heartbreaking news. Inky and her 2 brothers did not make it.

As bad as it hurts I am extremely thankful her breeder pulled her from being for sale when they first noticed symptoms. Many would not have said a word and sold me a sick chicken. I could potentially be mourning the loss of many of my own as well tonight.

Oh how tragic.

Or maybe the other way around….

They spent the whole afternoon outside with the main gang, they were up at one end, back doen at the other end, over here, over there… in the barn…. Outside again. They were cruising everywhere!

They were even sunbathing with some of the ladies.

I am just waiting for them to follow Tippy, Butterecotch, Buttercup, Laverne and Mr LC over the fence and into the horse paddocks!
