Technically Sylvie is a Welbar - a Welsummer with the sexlinked barring gene to enable gender identification at hatch.

Sophia I suspect was a BSL though I don’t have positive confirmation from my cousin as she couldn’t remember her breed.

She went broody once and successfully raised her four chicks I gave her.

She passed away earlier this year, I think she was 7 yrs old…?

Meet Raven she a tough old buddy, I want to say she’s 8 this year…. And weighs a good chunk!

She’s a black sex-link. I try to keep the weight off her and pray she doesn’t lay too many big eggs.

Petra became annoyed with me tonight as I wouldn’t set her to roost in the feedroom, she kept flying up on me and I would set her down in the Summer House.

Well she decided she would fly way up on the support beams where Tippy goes. What a brat! I chased her down and she landed perfectly on my arm. Just like a little hawk

I put her in HH-B, there she is beside that door under Mr LC’s tail.

I see Clyde is snoozing by the heater panel at the back.

Jaffarra is also in the HH-B (across from Petra), and Betty wanted in with Mr P. She sure is feeling better - she had some serious ninja moves tonight! She can jump!
