Ok, y’all know the “when it rains it pours” idiom? It works both ways, I guess. I got Roostie a vet appointment yesterday, today my “pet supplies” arrived in the mail (posted dec 10th from California, international “priority“ mail), and I found and started photographing the secret drug stash down at the farm... then to top it off my tooth issue cropped up again, so now I have some nasty pictures to attach for a tele health amoxicillin drug phishing quest! So Thankfull!
Hooray for the medicine! :wee

Sorry about your tooth. :hugs

You know Kris that's how I started. I did the sick chickens forums as well. I can't go there anymore. It was a chicken shaming thread that brought me here and I've made my home here ever since. Now I have no time to look anywhere else.
Chicken shaming? On a chicken website? How is that possible or even tolerated?

"You have chickens! Shame on you!!" 🤪

We had more at our last house, here they seem to be keeping the few we have seen under control, I have only had to trap 1 in the garage.
There are battle honors to be won on this thread, but I don’t think you will be awarded the prized ‘rodenteer’ title for just one mouse in a garage!
You will see what I mean when you get to the epic stories of the rodent wars which are probably only a few thousand posts back!

What they eat can effect the taste and color. I have a hard time telling the difference winter or summer but mine are free ranging and eating grass right now so.......
Here's the available grass now! Out skiing yesterday. Our whole hilltop looks like this:

Wow - that is snowy. Pretty though! All my snow has gone except for a stubborn patch that never sees the sun, but it is very cold so the ground is hard like iron and I keep piling leaves into the Chicken Palace so the Princesses can scratch. They seem fine with that.
